The renovation of this Brooklyn studio for an architect turned children's book author seeks to be sophisticated yet playful. Completely integrated appliances (like the refrigerator and dishwasher drawer) as well as the closet turned bar/pantry reveal functional surprises in the open-concept Brooklyn studio. The monochrome palette is accented by pops of color by use of natural materials and art throughout the apartment. The open floor plan creates a spacious environment while remaining efficient.
